On May 21, Liu Geng, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Hainan Provincial Committee, and a delegation of leaders visited Guangxi Nanning Baihui Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. for an inspection and research tour. They were accompanied by Hui Yonghong, Deputy Director of the Autonomous Region Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, and Liu Chang, Deputy Director of the Medical Administration Division of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Bureau. Baihui Pharmaceutical’s General Manager Guo Xiong and Deputy General Manager Deng Haichao welcomed the delegation and extended a warm welcome.

During the exhibition hall visit, Guo Xiong, General Manager of Baihui Pharmaceutical Company, provided a detailed introduction to the company's basic information, its development journey, key products, and its future growth plans. Liu Geng, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Hainan Provincial Committee, expressed full appreciation for the company's product R&D and therapeutic efficacy, particularly praising the unique Zhuang medicine production techniques and pharmacological effects that highlight Guangxi's distinctive cultural heritage. After the tour, Deputy Minister Liu Geng and the accompanying delegation moved to the fifth-floor conference room for an informal discussion, where both sides exchanged insights on topics such as product innovation, manufacturing technologies, drug efficacy, and market prospects, jointly exploring ways and measures to accelerate the development of the pharmaceutical industry. Following this, the research team visited the company's laboratory, where they examined and learned about the lab's operational management, advanced technical equipment, and cutting-edge testing methodologies.

Through this research study, both sides have deepened their understanding of the local ethnic medicine field, fostering positive impacts on strengthening friendship and promoting mutual learning and exchange. Both parties expressed their hope that, by leveraging this research initiative, they can enhance bilateral exchanges and learning opportunities, establish a long-term platform for mutual cooperation, elevate the overall pharmaceutical capabilities of each side, and jointly drive the rapid development of the ethnic minority medicine industry.
