If we consider a person's lifespan to be 100 years, the age at which health issues most commonly arise is around 62. After this point, the body begins to age more rapidly across the board. For most people, their peak vitality typically occurs around age 38, meaning that by then, individuals usually have established financial stability and family support. Therefore, investing more in wellness practices at this stage can effectively help combat the aging process.
The human body has golden acupoints.
The human body is the most remarkable work of art in the world, and when viewed through the lens of the golden ratio, it reveals five key "golden acupoints." According to Professor Zhang Guoxi from the Xiyuan Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, the Baihui acupoint—located at the golden section point (0.618) along the line from the top of the head to the back of the skull—is found right at the very center of the crown. Meanwhile, the Yongquan acupoint, situated at the golden section point (0.618) along the line from the heel to the toes, lies precisely in the hollow of the foot's sole. The Guanyuan acupoint, positioned at the golden section point (0.618) from the soles of the feet to the top of the head, can be located about four horizontal finger-widths below the navel. Additionally, counting upward from the chin, the Yintang acupoint appears at the golden section point (0.618) on the forehead—specifically, at the midpoint of the line connecting the two eyebrows. Finally, running through the middle of the body, the Tanzhong acupoint rests at the golden section point (0.618) along the torso, nestled midway between the two nipple lines. These five vital acupoints are considered powerful anti-aging points, and regular massage or gentle stimulation of these areas is highly recommended for maintaining health and vitality.
The golden sleep interval: 7.5 hours
A day consists of one complete cycle—24 hours of daylight and nighttime. If we divide the day into 12-hour segments for daylight and 12 hours for night, applying the golden ratio principle, the ideal sleep duration for humans would be approximately 7.5 hours, corresponding to 0.618 of the 12-hour nighttime period. "For most people, this sleep duration is perfectly optimal," says Zhang Zhong'ai. Generally speaking, going to bed early is best: ideally, falling asleep no later than 10 p.m., with seniors aiming even earlier—no later than 9 p.m.—to maintain a healthy and balanced daily routine.
Golden Dental Care Tip for 50-Year-Olds
By the ages of 59 to 80, teeth typically begin to fall out—making the golden period for dental care between 35 and 50. For people over 50, there’s a simple yet effective method to maintain oral health: switch from drinking strong tea to chewing tea leaves instead. Green tea is the best choice, as it not only helps protect your teeth but also effectively eliminates unpleasant mouth odors.
Prevent age spots, protect your internal organs—the golden key
The key to anti-aging facial care lies in nurturing your internal organs, and the golden focus for these organs is the liver and kidneys. People with unhealthy liver and kidney functions are particularly prone to developing noticeable melasma and age spots. A powerful way to support liver and kidney health is by gently patting the back with an open palm—this action helps speed up detoxification in the liver and kidneys, leading to improved skin tone. For those who already have existing spots, you can enhance the treatment by preparing a homemade mask: Grind 30 grams of raw almond kernels (make sure to choose bitter almonds, as they have skin-lightening properties) together with 200 ml of water using a blender. Once blended, add two tablespoons of glycerin and apply the mixture as a mask on your face.
